What are interchangeable knitting needles?

Interchangeable knitting needles are circular knitting needles that can be broken down into ‘tips’ and a ‘cable.’ This means that you can mix and match the tips and the cables, giving you more combinations of needle size and cable length. The details differ from set to set, but you will normally get a range of tips in a variety of sizes and a selection of cables of different lengths. Using the set is super easy! Choose your tips and you cable and twist them together. Then use the key tool to tighten the connection. When you want to change again, use the key tool to loosen the connection and unscrew the tips.
