Using natural and sustainable Falkland Island wool blended with the softest Mulberry silk, this luxury yarn is super soft and comfortable next to the skin, making it ideal for beautiful sweaters, cardigans and shawls.

  • West Yorkshire Spinners was founded in 1997 during a time when many spinning mills were closing due to the increase in yarns being imported from overseas. This was also a time when natural fibres were now in decline, giving way to synthetic, man-made fibres and an opportunity was spotted for more sustainable products.

    West Yorkshire Spinners built a spinning mill from scratch with a strong reputation for high-quality natural-fibre yarns. They work closely with local farmers and champion British wool and its fascinating heritage. Today they have a range of unique and innovative products that demonstrate what can be achieved by blending British wool and manufacturing ingenuity.

    Still a family business today, all West Yorkshire Spinners products are spun in the Aire Valley, West Yorkshire. They develop yarn blends and colours in-house taking inspiration from seasonal trends, as well as shades that suit the fibre.
